Pride Park

Pride Park is an 80-acre recreational area built in 1999 that offers spectacular views of rolling hills and deep ravines. Much of the park was originally a sheep farm. Two family cemeteries are still located and protected on the park grounds. About 59 acres of the park are undeveloped.

Park features include:

  • Two paved walking/hiking trails and multiple unpaved trails
  • Playground
  • Basketball court
  • Open playfields
  • Three covered shelters with restrooms

Covered Shelters

Three covered shelters, each with six picnic tables, grills, water fountains, concrete floors, and handicap accessible restrooms are available to rent at Pride Park:

  • Winston Park Shelter 1: co-located with Shelter #2 next to the playground (faces the playground)
  • Sunny Acres Shelter 2: co-located with Shelter #1 next to the playground (overlooks the park and walking trails)
  • Forest Hills Shelter 3: a stand-alone shelter located on the side of the park with its own parking lot.

The covered shelters and amphitheater are available to the public to rent. View information on Pride Park Rentals.
