Update on Taylor Mill Road Sidewalks – Final Phase: The Kentucky Department of Transportation has approved the city’s sidewalk design plan and granted permission  to begin right-of-way acquisition for the third and final phase of the Taylor Mill Road Sidewalk Project. Phase III will run from Saddlebrook Drive all the way to Walnut Drive, next to the Trifecta Building. Acquisition is expected to take five to six months to complete. Once all the right-of-way is acquired, the city will put the construction phase of the project out to bid. This should happen in early spring 2025. It is our hope that with this schedule, the project should be completed by late fall of that same year. Once completed, there will be a constant sidewalk all the way from Pride Park, north to the Remke Shopping Center, back down Pride Parkway to Taylor Mill Road and back up to the park again.
