Thanks to a grant from Duke, the city is planting six new oaks along the concert field at Pride Park. As they grow, they will provide shade for those who come to enjoy summer events on the new concert stage that will be constructed later this spring.  The stage construction is funded by a Land and Water Conservation Fund grant.
