CAO Haney has lived in Taylor Mill for 18 years. He has over 28 years of experience in state and local government and has spent the last 24 years as the Director of Administration for the office of the Kenton County Attorney.  CAO Haney also spent time as the City Administrator of Ludlow Kentucky; his first job when he moved to Northern Kentucky after graduate school.  Brian received his BA in Political Science and his Master of Public Administration from Eastern Kentucky University.

John Stager has served as the Taylor Mill Fire Department’s Fire Chief since 2014. He provides leadership to 8 career, 12 part time, and 20 volunteer personnel.

Chief Stager currently supervises the Fire Prevention, emergency medical, fleet maintenance, fire operation, and public education services of the department.

Prior to becoming Chief, John was employed as a Full Time Firefighter for Taylor Mill in 2010 and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in charge of training in 2012. John came to Taylor Mill from Ohio where he worked as a Firefighter Paramedic for West Chester Township, Madeira/Indian Hill Joint Fire District, Union Township and Volunteered with the Greenhills Fire Department. Chief Stager has also been a Police Officer for the City of Covington, Kentucky as well as a Police officer for the City of Cincinnati.

Chief Stager has attended the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati State Technical College. He studied under the Associate of Applied Science Degree for Criminal Justice and the Paramedic Science Major Program. He was an Active member of the Army Reserve “Green to Gold” program through the University Cincinnati for four years and also a Corpsman in the Navy Reserve for two years.

Chief Stager holds certificates in: Fire Fighter I & 2, Leadership, Fire Safety Inspector, and Fire Instructor 1, IFSAC 1&2 and IFSAC 1403: Live Burn Instructor and a Nationally Registered Paramedic holding certificates for the State of Kentucky and Ohio.

Chief Stager is a member of the State of Kentucky Fire Inspector’s Association, Northern Kentucky Chief’s Association, Northern Kentucky Firefighter’s Association, Northern Kentucky Emergency Service School, National Fire Protection Association, and International Association of Fire Chiefs.

He is married to Jennifer and has three children: Cole, Connor, and Clare. When not working Chief Stager enjoys participating in 5 and 10k’s with his wife Jennifer and coaching his kid’s sports teams.

As the Director of the Maintenance Department at the City of Taylor Mill, Marc Roden supervises and performs a variety of maintenance duties for safety, cleanliness, and the maintenance of the city’s operation.  Roden supervises his maintenance workers on maintenance, repair, and construction of public work projects. These would include building roads and bridges, repairing slippage, and snow removal.

There is never a dull moment in Marc Roden’s 15-year tenure with the City of Taylor Mill.  Prior to his employment with the City of Taylor Mill, Marc worked for the Kenton County Public Works Department for 23 years.   Combined, Marc has over 38 years of experience supervising, running heavy equipment, maintaining the streets and parks for the safety of the community.  With his years of experience, Roden is able to instruct the crew on repair methods to be used, assist in planning work and make work assignments, ensures that machines and equipment are available and in proper operating condition.

He is married to Joni and has two children.   Roden is an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan who doesn’t miss a game.
