Environmental Study for Sidewalk Phase III to Begin This Week

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has begun environmental studies for proposed improvements to KY 3716/Taylor Mill Road in Taylor Mill, Kenton County, Kentucky  (KYTC Item Number 6-463). The project expands Taylor Mill Road from Saddlebrook Drive to Walnut Drive.

In accordance with KRS 416.560(4), our engineers, surveyors, and environmental technologists may be working on or near your property collecting data necessary to determine potential environmental impacts and facilitate preliminary highway design. Work may include, but is not limited to land surveying, geophysical surveying, wetland identification, historic property surveys, archaeological surveys, and gathering additional data needed to facilitate these studies. The specific area in which these persons may be working does not necessarily indicate the location or extent of the proposed improvement; rather information is being obtained to facilitate sound project decision making. Every effort will be made to personally contact individual property owners prior to entry on private property.

Your cooperation in allowing these individuals to perform their work is greatly appreciated. Activities will begin on/or after May 15, 2023. If you have any questions, please contact the following staff:
