Snow Emergency Declared: The city of Taylor Mill is declaring a SNOW EMERGENCY beginning at noon, Saturday, January 24th until rescinded.  During this time, we require all cars to be removed from the city streets to allow our snow plows safe and efficient access to the roads.  Due to the low temperatures, we must rely on constant plowing to keep up with the snow removal rather than just salt, as it will be less effective as the temperatures drop below 30 degrees. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you as our primary goal is to clear the streets for safe passage for both our residents and emergency responders.  It is not our goal to block anyone’s mailbox, but please understand that may happen.

DO NOT KNOCK

Taylor Mill has a “Do Not Knock” ordinance which created a list that is provided to all licensed solicitors of addresses that are not to be disturbed.  If you would like to be included on that list, please contact our police administration office, 581-1192, or stop by the PD office between 9-5 Monday through Friday.  We will add you to that list and provide you with a sticker to place on your door to let solicitors know that you are not to be disturbed.  If you see or have an issue with a solicitor, you may ask to see their Taylor Mill solicitor’s license which is issued by our police department.  If they do not have one, please contact us to report their activity.
