Duke to Use Helicopter to Trim Around Powerlines

Dear Community Stakeholders –

Duke Energy will be trimming trees along one of our high voltage circuits situated within your jurisdiction. The trimming will be completed using a multi-blade apparatus suspended from a helicopter. Work will initiate this week starting near the Doe Run Park area and moving east towards Pride Parkway. The operation will move west to another circuit originating at the Miami Fort Generation Station and will track south west towards Madison, Indiana.
