Snow Emergency Declared: The city of Taylor Mill is declaring a SNOW EMERGENCY beginning at noon, Saturday, January 24th until rescinded. During this time, we require all cars to be removed from the city streets to allow our snow plows safe and efficient access to the roads. Due to the low temperatures, we must rely on constant plowing to keep up with the snow removal rather than just salt, as it will be less effective as the temperatures drop below 30 degrees. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you as our primary goal is to clear the streets for safe passage for both our residents and emergency responders. It is not our goal to block anyone’s mailbox, but please understand that may happen.
Please be advised that on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, the Northern Kentucky Water District will begin work on Grand Avenue. A temporary detour route will be implemented while a section of Grand Avenue is closed. Traffic will be rerouted in front of the Water District’s treatment plant.
